Z/Yen is delighted to host a special breakfast with Georgia State University’s (GSU’s) eighth president and colleagues. Appointed in 2021, President Blake is a highly-regarded academic leader and an acclaimed engineer and computer scientist. President Blake leads one of the fastest-growing research institutions in the nation and the largest university in Georgia. Georgia State’s six campuses in downtown and metro Atlanta are home to a world-class faculty and more than 52,000 students and GSU is the national leader in graduating students from diverse backgrounds. He is accompanied by three colleagues:
- Dr Wolfgang Schlör, Associate Provost;
- Brennen Dicker, Executive Director of GSU’s Creative Industries Institute;
- Sarah L Cook, Dean of the Honors College, Professor of Psychology, Georgia State University.
Z/Yen has been pleased to work with GSU interns over the past decade, and has been consistently impressed with their calibre. Z/Yen and GSU are hosting this event to foster better academic-business relations between the USA and the UK. This is an opportunity to connect with some of GSU’s outstanding academic professionals, to explore issues of common concern for both the UK and USA, and to learn how to work with GSU in particular.
