A Tour Of The Historic Pubs Of The City Of London
Walking Tour

Our Guide, Sam Jacobs, has lived and worked in the City of London for many years in the City of London, and will share insider stories about living, working, and having fun in the City. There'll be plenty of opportunities to explore the food and drink available in the City during our time together. You can find more information about the pubs we will be visiting in Sam’s book, A guide to eating, drinking and sleeping in the City of London.

We will visit

  • The oldest pub in the city of london (dating back before the Fire of London)
  • a converted Tea Warehouse
  • an old poultry market
  • a former coffee shop
  • a pub where Dickens lived and mentions 30 times in “The Pickwick Papers”

and much more. We will share stories and a couple of drinks and start 2025 with a fascinating journey.
