As the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) looks towards transforming the way they regulate financial services, Steve Green will be talking about how they are working to achieve this. The talk will focus upon 3 streams of activity that are each critical for success;
Speakers
Steve Green is Head of Central Data Services at the FCA. His department looks after all data management and collection activities for the FCA, as well as running a number of central data advisory, analysis and insight functions. Steve is also the Accountable Executive in charge of the FCA’s Data Strategy implementation, transforming the way the FCA exploits its’ data and covering the replacement of all key data platforms. Prior to joining the FCA, Steve worked on implementing large scale technology driven change across a variety of businesses.
Matthew Rees is Director of Regulation and Economics at the Ministry of Defence’s arm’s length Single Source Regulations Office, Deputy Chairman of Gemserv Limited, an energy-sector and cyber security advisory business, and a Supervisory Council Member of the ICAEW. He supports leadership teams and boards, builds teams and data services and develops stakeholder engagement to promote fairness in regulated markets. During his career, Matthew has worked in audit, investment banking, competition and regulatory authorities, parliamentary scrutiny and government agencies.
